Position Summary:
The Technical Manager is a multifaceted role combining leadership and technical expertise. This role will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and delivering effective technical solutions while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will be client-focused, possess strong technical problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Technical Support and Delivery: Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for clients' IT infrastructure, operating systems, and software applications. Oversee project delivery and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their technical needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in infrastructure, operating systems (Windows Server and Client), MS365, virtualization software (ESX/vSphere and Hyper-V), and hardware networking.
- Problem Solving and Solution Design: Analyse complex technical issues, develop innovative solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Pre-Sales and Discovery: Participate in pre-sales processes, client-facing meetings, and technical discovery to understand client requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
- Cybersecurity: Maintain awareness of cybersecurity threats and best practices, ensuring the team adheres to security protocols.
- Training: Maintain and improve the capabilities of the Professional Services Team to support our customers and their need
- Service Agreements: Maintain and keep current the customer contracts in place.
Position Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in infrastructure, operating systems (Windows Server and Client), MS365, virtualization software (ESX/vSphere and Hyper-V), and hardware networking and other technologies employed by Logi-Tech to support its customers.
- Professional Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business needs and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices and the technologies employed by Logi-Tech to support its customers.
- Collaboration: Maintain a positive engagement with the Sales team at all times
Performance Expectations:
- The Technical Manager is expected to meet or exceed performance targets related to team productivity, client satisfaction, and project delivery.
- Performance will be reviewed regularly based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and alignment with Logi-Tech's business objectives.
Work Location:
- To lead our team, your primary work location will be in our offices in Marleston, South Australia, with some work-from-home arrangements supported.
Other Considerations:
- You must have the right to work in Australia.
- The ability to obtain an Australian Security clearance (Australian Citizenship) is preferred.
- Holding an existing security clearance of NV1 is desirable.
