The Role
As a Technical Specialist L1, you'll be the first point of contact for IT support, helping internal staff work smarter and more securely. You'll troubleshoot issues, resolve service requests, and ensure our clients' operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st level IT support (phone, email, walk-ins, remote)
- Troubleshoot and triage faults, delivering first-fix solutions
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical staff
- Follow technical processes and security protocols
- Monitor and manage ticket queues
- Advise staff on incident resolution and workarounds
- Contribute to continuous improvement and proactive support
What You'll Bring
- Experience in desktop/server support, hardware, network, and software troubleshooting
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, virtualization (VMware), and Active Directory
- O365 experience essential
- ITIL framework knowledge and certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL 4) highly desirable
- NV1 Clearance required (or eligibility for sponsorship)
